Security improvement released for DEYE Micro Inverters to improve security performance in Wi-Fi module firmware.

We are reaching out to inform you about recent security updates concerning DEYE's Micro Inverters, to reduce the risk of cyberattacks in the Wi-Fi module firmware.

Our diligent security team has discovered specific vulnerabilities affecting the Wi-Fi module firmware. These vulnerabilities pertain to firmware versions MW3_16U_5406_1.59 and MW3_16U_5406_2.32-D1 or earlier. To effectively mitigate the risks, we have released the following firmware updates: MW3_SSL_5406_1.05 and MW3_16U_5406_5.05-S. You can contact with your installer or send the SN of your micro inverter to [email protected], and the upgrade can be performed by your installer or DEYE support team remotely.

The aforementioned firmware updates have successfully passed the compliance testing according to ETSI EN 303 645 V2.1.1:2020 by TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH in December 2023. You can proceed with the upgrade confidently.
